FMCSA Clearinghouse Assistance

January 6, 2020, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) rolled out the FMCSA Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse was designed in order to track and maintain a record of all CDL drivers who either test positive, refuse to test, complete a return to duty test, and complete the followup testing program. By 2023, the FMCSA Clearinghouse Query will replace the Drug and Alcohol testing history request for previous employers. As an employer of CDL drivers, you are required to be registered within the FMCSA Clearinghouse and required to register all drivers employed through your company.

If an employee with a CDL commits a drug or alcohol violation, this information must be reported to the FMCSA Clearinghouse database. We work with our clients to assist them through the registration and reporting process. If you are a part of our Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium, as your Third Party Administrator, we will work with your team to ensure your program is properly set up for success.

We offer training, online and in person, that dives into this new policy ensuring complete understanding of the new requirements of the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Contact us for more information on the FMCSA Clearinghouse or to schedule in person training for your team. Click the training button below for more information on our FMCSA Clearinghouse course.

We ensure that our policies adhere to the most up-to-date DOT rules and regulations and will continue to update the program as new regulations come available. Training

One of our main focuses at FRCS is training, and we offer three different Drug and Alcohol Trainings, all required by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration. Our training has been designed to bring you the most relevant information directly to you.

As part of our drug and alcohol program we offer initial employee training for introduction and understanding of the policy. This ensures supervisors and managers be skilled and knowledgable when it comes to the program so that new employees are able to receive training in the same capacity.

Our Drug and Alcohol related training programs are offered online though D.O.T. University and can meet your needs wherever you are located within the Unites States.
